Talib Kweli - MC / DJ
Ever since emerging as a member of Black Star in the late 1990s, Talib Kweli is one of the few artists making commercially viable music that matters. The Brooklyn bred rapper's hard-hitting music has been able to educate and entertain simultaneously. So it is no wonder that at the peak of their fame, both Jay-Z and 50 Cent named Talib Kweli as one of their favorite rappers.
With Ear Drum, his first album released on his own Blacksmith Music and his sixth album overall, Kweli has delivered his career-defining work, a polished collection showcasing his advanced lyricism and his penchant for picking music that resonates long after the song ends.
Stretch Armstrong - DJ
Internationally renowned deejay/producer/overall music impresario Stretch Armstrong has enjoyed a nearly two-decade career that has remained as diverse, eclectic and inspired as his home city. As a native New Yorker who grew up on the edge of Spanish Harlem, he began absorbing all of the underground sounds of the city - from early hip-hop to freestyle, disco, reggae and everything else - straight from his home streets at a very early age. Having begun his interaction with rhythm as a drummer at the age of five, he purchased his first record ("Rapper's Delight") in Fifth Grade, thus beginning a lifelong affair with the 12" format.

DJ Dummy - DJ
Dummy is an unlikely name for a mastermind, yet DJ Dummy does not live up to his name, when it comes to the turntables by any means. This Battle/Club/Concert DJ, who adds musical director and producer to his resume, hails from Brooklyn, New York. Dummy grew up with the DJ influence everywhere, his father, brother, and cousins all Djed; as a result he was on the turntables by the age of 7.
In 1991, people took notice when the then 14-year old djing genius held his own on the stage of the Supermen DJ Battle. One of the premier events in the battle circuit, the Supermen DJ Battle hosts big names such as Mix Master Mike, Steve D, and DJ Eightball.

His name was slowly spreading out there. 1994, he challenged Vestax All Japan DJ Competition, as a result he won the championship in the technical section. DJ Spinna is something of an anomaly in music. A humbling example of what it takes to truly succeed within the framework of multiple fields. A steadfast work ethic, an obsessively extensive vinyl library and the willingness to pursue the full extents of his roots (Funk, Soul and Jazz), foundation (Hip-Hop) and future (Electronic/Dance music) with no restraints. A cornerstone of Hip-Hop's late 90's indie-uprise, DJ Spinna made much of his first impression on listeners as the musical background of his group The Jigmastas (having released an impressive slew of 12" singles on his then self-run label Beyond Real during this time) as well as providing the canvas for an array of that era's lyrical giants.
DJ Center - DJ
Music is therapy - rhythms ease the mind and transport one to places and spaces far beyond their immediate surroundings. At the turntables, DJ Center soul-travels, navigating audiences with a crate of musical goods from around the globe, while echoing a New York state of mind.
The Romanian-Born, New York-bred, tastemaker's environment gave inspiration for an insatiable palate of Hip Hop & Jazz, Hard-Bop & Boom-Bap with a global outlook and immigrant roots. "I came out of New York City DJ culture, cutting my teeth on '90s Hip Hop, but my mentor was a Jazz musician. With that foundation, I never separated music (by genre).
